i picked up these treasures at a local garage sale yesterday, including the lovely hook below.
if i were ever on Survivor i would be busy crocheting hats, mats, clothing, shelter, fishing nets from plant materials (raffia below) when not off foraging for food.
they've never had a crafty Survivor contestant.....
the lustrous fiber at the top of the above photo is shredded saris. a darning egg sits near by.
