Camassia quamash

the latest muu is made from a fabric called
Gramercy, Leah Duncan for Art Gallery Fabrics
and the pattern is A1 from
Feminine Wardrobe by Jinko Matsumoto.
I lengthened the dress (since I am 4" taller than the pattern model), added side seam pockets,
and a thin waist bow tie from the side seams to the back.
this pattern used 4 yards of fabric, which seams like a lot for a sleeveless dress, but i love the wide/loose swingy skirt (and the detail of the loop button closure at the back neck).
the title for this post is the name of one of the flowers printed on the fabric, a native plant of the northwest, and used as a food source by local indigenous people.
